Advice is like snow — the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper in sinks into the mind.

Arriving back on the island was such a disappointment. Why?
Well, one was back in Londres, but more importanly it snowed. Yup,strange time of year for a flake to descend upon your face, but what a nice touch to a weekend that had a wedding within its grips. Snow, white dress, groom, port, food and more food, what else do you need?? (well maybe a pic of ones place-card!..click below). But, certainly not coming back and seeing the same old news involving consultant contracts filling the headlines…such a jejune diet of journalism.
Anyhow, Im beginning to cotton to the sunshine that has crept up here in Dublin. Looks like summers here, well at least for its usual one week out of fifty two.

..from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape…

Ah,back from another jaunt away (well just the wkd). This time unfortunately the skies weren’t as blue as those you see below and no, I was not on a cabin in that little gold boat. On this merry go round, I was in the ol’country, staying in a fabulous hotel with top notch ladies and then a glorious mansion the following eve. Yes, its true, one can go away and suddenly find yourself surrounded by real life inamoratas and not those I usually preoccupy myself with on chikipedia.
Being surrounded by such pulchritude and grace does make one feel special, especially as you get blokes in awful white polo tops asking you whether you are Australian or not, as ‘you don’t have an accent from these parts’ and you happen to be next to a blonde.
One can confirm that Im not from ‘these parts’ and I am by no means whatsoever, belonging or pertaining to a geographical division comprising Australia and Tasmania. Enjoy the pic and click on it for others..
